The following photo montage is in honour of my sister, who once spent an entire family vacation in Italy obsessively taking photographs of fire extinguishers. To this day, no-one truly understands the reasons why and it is one of those topics that's very rarely aired..... Loopy - this one is for you.

i freaking love all these photos and i am honoured by your bin montage to me...i feel very special now!!! in my defense i had had an awful lot of sun that day and in the post uv haze of after sun a coiled up fire hose CAN look like post modernistic art!!!!!
and by the way your fly karma conumdrum was the funniest thing i have read but i can see all your expressions and karmic terror sweeping across your face!!! its so you its fantastic!!! please please write that book!!! i loved all your bhutan blogs thank you for all of your entrys and keeping us with you all the time albeit digitally!!! i love you lots xxxxx loopy!!!

I agree with Mumsie - you have several books inside you and must get inspired to write at least one of them. You are a brilliant writer and I am so sad that this journey is over. We have decided that you must work harder to make more money so you can travel more and keep us entertained with tales of your experiences. I read the earlier blog posts and see that my name made it into the entries - something about introducing you to Jeremy's!!! Well there will be no more Jeremy visits for you otherwise you will not have enough wonga for the next adventure. Where are you considering next I wonder? We leave tomorrow (talk about timing) so we will see you at the end of July when we are back from our travels. No blog from us I am afraid but definitely lots to share over champagne when we return. Mumsie if you are reading this PLEASE come and stay again. We had so much fun with you and look forward to our next visit to the west coast. Love A&K xxxx
I have readers!!! i'm so glad you guys are enjoying the blog and, yes, I am seriously considering turning my blogs into a book.... I've even come up with the title....
Re my next travels, i'm off camping to Lake Tahoe next week, then Yosemite in August, Portland in September and Joshua Tree in October, so hopefully more tales of adventure beckon!!
