Swatch watch...

Ahh... Gotta love 1st world problems.  Today's dilemma de jour is what color to pick for my new sofa in the "great room" (as my condo brochure calls it).  I have some crazy-assed (but very cool) wallpaper as my accent wall, a turquoise fronted IKEA media cabinet (well...it wouldn't be a proper move if there wasn't at least some flat pack furniture involved) and now I'm sorting out the rest of it. I have two accent chairs - they are the swatches on the far right. What I'm dithering on is the color of the couch - the three swatches on the left.  I'm probably veering towards the one in the middle - but what do you guys think?

Here's a close up. And no. The rug sample is not stained- that's the pattern.

Cat is included for color reference and matching.  Dylan matches the floor,so izzie needs to match with the furniture or I'll have to sell him.

And here's the final close close up. This could be a complete exercise of folly, however, but I trust in the..um...exquisite taste and style of my blog watchers....
Answers on a postcard, please.

Thank you kindly.

Oh, and by the way, am heading off to Tokyo on Friday for a work trip, so I'll get some Japan blogging in after all!!

How clever to buy pre-stained rug should be staple item for anyone with small children ;cats or aged parents !!! Trust your judgement on colour darling , we out of practise after 10 years of choosing stuff that blends in with the dust! Cant wait to see it all, do leave a few bits and pieces so we can shop together . You must have managed to cope with snowy road conditions assuming you not blogging in traction from hospital bed ! as lou said have a great trip to Tokyo hope you have some time to explore and can hit a karaoke bar . lots love xxxxxxxx

Love the pre stained carpet. Suggest you choose in the same way as you chose the forfeits. cut the samples into small pieces and allow the cats to choose. After all they have far better taste than any of us humanoids and after all they will be spending more time surrounded by our mistake than anyone else.
Good luck in Japan and remember don't open the door your on exiting as this is done by that strange man in the front with the white gloves. Trust me you wont be able to escape theKaraoke bars.
Have a great time. Love you lots xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I too love the cat swatch. I wonder how much you could get for Izzie? I hope your flight was good. Great chatting while you were getting settled in your super seat with Tardis Blue shell around you. Hope you are not too exhausted when you land. Love Me xx
