Gooooood morning, Utaaaaaaah!

Ouch.  4am and the alarm clock sounds - time to be up before the dawn and head out to Brian Head Peak, the highest elevation point in the area, to watch the sunrise.   The drive took about an hour and a half and reminded me of the drive up to Haleakana volcano in Maui.  Twisty, winding roads with a final elevation actually higher than that of Haleakana, at 11,307 ft!  From the viewpoint, 360 degree views beckoned, so it was a perfect vantage point.  We were the only folk up there, so it was a beautifully serene start to the day.  Here are some of the pictures from our sunrise sojourn:
